GREEN PASTURES
Housing the homeless and poor
without discrimination or favour

About us

Founded in 1999 we are a successful not-for-profit limited company based in Southport, England.

Run by a small team with a big vision we house homeless individuals and families. We partner with local churches and faith groups to establish pastoral care teams that assist our tenants according to their needs. Our formula works, and we are growing fast. Our property portfolio has grown from two two-bedroomed flats to assets valued at £14M. Our properties are located in Southport, Wigan, North Wales, Salford, Blackburn, Wakefield, Flintshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Brighton and London. They comprise houses, flats, and bedsits. Tenants are allowed to remain in perpetuity. It is their home for as long as they wish.

Run by Christians, and with a strong Christian ethic, we work both with Christian and other faith groups UK-wide. Our current partners are:

1. The Prison Chaplaincy, Stoke

2. Keyworkers Project, Wigan

3. All Souls Local Action Network (ASLAN), Dartford

4. Gateway Vineyard Church, Dartford

5. Hope Housing, Bradford

6. YMCA, Flint, Wales

7. The Boaz Trust, Manchester

8. YMCA, Blackburn

9. The Saviour Trust, Pontefract

10. Friends First, Brighton

11. Community Awareness Programme, Wakefield

12. Assist, Sheffield

13. Michaels Limited, Bournemouth

We also actively lobby politicians locally and nationally to engineer

    social change.
